President Has Aged

I just watched W speak and the guy looks like he has really aged. Being in the Oval Office ages most of them pretty quickly.

Surely I'm wrong, but I've seen Bush at the TV, and the look of his face together with his very looooong vacation makes me think he has some serious health problems. Of course nobody is mentioning this on the media.

The guy's in amazing physical shape though, steams along at 20MPH on a *mountain bike* and can bench all this weight, etc., he's under a lot of stress to be sure, and keep in mind he's aging anyway just like we all do. I was amazed at his lean face (don't have a TV and have not seen him live for a while) but I'm thinking it's all the working out he's doing. Taft ate, this guy exercises! :P

I agree most presidents seem to age rapidly in their four or eight years in office.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

Is it just me or does the president always look amused when he's talking. No matter what the topic, he always seems to have a twinkle in his eye and a smile playing around his lips.

Just tonight when he was talking about the disaster in New Orleans he could barely supress a grin.

Well Chocky,

he probably does think it is all hilarious as everybody except the top 1% elite or "his type of people" as he liked to call them will be living like the refugees in the Superdome before long.

Hopefully, some of us POilers can avoid the fate of the 99% by being savvy.

Well; it has been five years now. But I agree, he seems to have aged more than that. I'm not sure I'd be feeling so great in his position either.

(cocaine?)

Anyone know what drugs induce that trademark aphasia, megalomania, and triumphalist disregard for the writing on the wall?

Christianity will do that, or at least the American version will.

God put you in the white house, nothing can go wrong, and you will live forever.

Whats not to grin at?

Oh and having oil stocks can do that.

It happens to every President. How much sleep do you think these guys get?

Heck, I personally think Bush is easily one of the worst presidents in history, that's an opinion.

However, it's a FACT that Bush has presided over two of the most awful catastrophes in the history of the country. Who else had to deal with worse? Lincoln - yes, much worse. FDR - yes, of course. Who else has had to deal with catastrophes of the scale of 911 and Katrina? My God, this guy has the worst luck ever. What's next? PEAK OIL!
