I didn't get the chance to run over a single zombie on my way to work yesterday, and once the traffic jam started from all the other people going to work, I figured, maybe a few layoffs would cure this particular problem, since peak oil appears to have already cured the price of gasoline problem.

You guys do realize that in the 70's there were many people who did the exact same things as you for exactly the same reasons.......when their doom predictions didn't happen the vast majority of them came crawling back to civilization looking like total fools. Will history repeat itself or will the doomers finally (for once in a millennium) be right? Stay tuned......

I post in the usually in the evenings when I'm taking a break from work and prepping. I like reading this site to get new ideas and updates. Generally I'll post my food prep stuff, but anymore I am becoming more "mum" about my amount of weaponary preparations and storage. My husband is becoming more and more involved and sitting here with the laptop and reading some of the more informative posts helps us to brainstorm about what else we should be doing. Since he was in the military, he finds it really fun to have a wife that wants to buy another gun or scope etc. He wasn't as excited about the grain mill (oh well).
