Hug A Doomer Day sounds sOOOOO much more cheerful that Earth Day rofl!
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

No. It's a work in progress. I just posted a few times today, for example, and they all got deleted. In fact, this one may get deleted too. These glitches will get fixed.

Ahhh...some of my favorite posters! You people have entertained me and annoyed me for years! Consider yourselves hugged. There, hug hug hug. Now bend over so I can boot you all in the a**! This is tough love! [smilie=3some.gif] [smilie=5bullwhip.gif]

I would live to hold a mad hatters party for all you lot.
I wonder if we all took over a resort somewhere for a month, what we might learn and achieve.
Being spread around the world the way we are would make such a trip contradictory to our general efficiency motive, but most of us think TS is going to HTF anyway regardless, cornies can fly in on canola powered airbusses.
The 2 things I find most valuable in this forum are acceptance of peak oil and the intelligence of posters on all sides. You people really make me think.
If I have a big enough yacht at the end time I will come pick you all up and we will sail to my secret island.
French greeting to the guys and kisses to the girls.

I was just thinking today about mos(somenumbersIcan'tremember) and how he has changed a lot over the years - still one of the most critical thinkers and willing to question nearly every assumption from every side. Used to just apparently complain about what others were doing or not doing but now walking the walk, actually taking steps to change his life. Though we don't get along worth beans and I have a hard time communicating with him, he's still one of my favorite posters and one whom I always try to read.

He makes me think. :)

rockdoc123, I disgree with him on many issues but he is someone who I have learnt a great deal from by reading what he has said and having to read up to respond to him.

maddog78 has done a great job trying to explain the details of how the BP disaster might have happened. He has kept his cool in threads where others were panicing.
