Ahmadinejad is a preeminent tinfoiler. I mean, after all, he hosted the holocaust denier convention. Anyone who looks to him for the straight story is an idiot.

Ahmadinejad is cleverly and wisely playing to his constituency few of whom believe the Holocaust tale in its entirety. Few in the Muslim world, in fact. He's not playing to voters in New York City, that's for sure.

Excellent interview. We could use a leader in the States with his kind of chutzpah.

Probably mos enjoys to live in parallel universe where simple rational statement made by Ahmadinejad, that it's the U.S. which used n-bombs on people in the past and did nothing to stop rogue regimes like Israel to acquire those or abide by the NPT (not pressed to join), could be suddenly called "false and sometimes wild accusations" as put it Hillary in her truly orwellian reaction..

(it speaks volumes even if you dicsount the later part commentary section)

Stephanopolous darling> his sleazy-pushy interviewing style backfired nicely as Ahmadinejad turned the tables on him, no Osama is not hidding in Teheran, but was in bed with the Bushes, so prolly you should look at home for him first, hah..

And Bush was elected twice. That means he should get a medal? By the way, he doesn't necessarily have a mandate, you know. Iran is very good at manufacturing excuses for its bad actions. That's hardly worthy of praise.

You know, it IS possible to disagree with american foreign policy without casting unconditional support for any and all foreign leaders who oppose us. This whole "enemy of my enemy is my friend" deal on peakoil.com is much too simplistic.

That guy wasn't elected for president even once.
However, that doesn't discount the widespread cretenism on large part of the U.S.
population, which voted enough, so to steal the elections (flipping few % besides other tactics) was a project given a go twice. Not speaking about the contra-candidates: stupid Gore, running with neonazi Lieberman as his buddy, and childishly not wanting to "divide the nation" any further. Or the weak Kerry, which didn't support Edwards to fight the evident fraud.
