More to the point, what do you teach them?
Despite the fact I am mad; I am sane enough to realize that children are the future; good, bad or indifferent. The number is important insofar as if you want your kids to be part of the healing of the planet; best not have too many or you will be too busy to give them the education they are not going to get from school or from MSM.
Mos, I hope you are raising your daughter to be a force for good. I know you know what needs to be done and can keep your spirits well enough to be a really positive guide for her.

Fix the country for the new energy paradigm and rebuild our suburbs with mass transit and urban growth zones, solar credits and rebates, energy tax on oil products, get serious about population control.

But why bother, we have made our bed and we must lie in it. It is much too late on the depletion curve (see Hirsch) to mitigate with conservation, fuel-switching, or urban or suburban redesign. so have fun. beat up on the cornies.
