Better thought... How bout we just pass on this whole "uprising" notion, from the left, or the right. If some right wing government has oil wells drilled on your favorite hiking spot, vote, don't shoot. If some left wing government tells you that you may only have drug B, instead of drug A; vote, don't shoot. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Funny thing about voting, thats different than shooting, when you lose, you get to do it again next year.

If there is anything that doomers should realize, is that it's a lot easier to destroy than it is to create. All you have to do is look at the state of the biosphere to validate that theory. And so how do doomers react to this when they build out their ideologies?

It sounds so hippie cliche, but violence is not the answer. This is why I loath Derrick Jensen, for instance, since his whole "raison d'être" is rage. It's far too easy to be angry, especially for men who just can't resist the temptation to beat their chest and demonstrate their machoism. You want to do something impressive and heroic? STFU with the manifestos and start a community garden.
