Yeah, who cares about peak oil when we've got more important things to worry about like pickles. The horror!

They should restrict MSG which is thousand times worse than normal salt. MSG is for all intents and purposes is a narcotic but it is too profitable to mega corps like McDonald's and others to ever put sensible restrictions on it.

MSG is crap - I avoid it whenever possible (but not obsessively) - there is a reason its in cheap food. Enjoy your excitotoxic crap - wash it down with some aspartame...

I used to work in the natural food industry and would have been simply aghast at my current fallen behavior. I drink diet soda almost every night.

And look at me! I can dance the Tarantella!

LOL - thats about right... you should really stick to real sugar - much healthier - that diet crap can actually make you gain weight by tricking your bodies immune response. Too much toxic food and you're gonna end up like shortonbrains... 8O

If you like your Umami, stick to Parmigiano-Reggiano instead. Yum.

I redeem myself regularly at certain pattern restaurants, too numerous to mention.

I don't know what a pattern restaurant is.....
