I know many companies rely on imports flown in from overseas
however ignoring that fact for now ..
How much fuel would be saved if aviation didn't exist ?
Also people talk about peaking now. I guess its hard to see now as prices are 'only' $50/barrel. This point in the year from what I understand should be the cheapest as the northern hemisphere has warmed up therefore demand for heating oil has decreased. (or cold weather and high oil prices were partly blamed on the demand for heating oil so the opposite must be true). Also the so called summer driving season has not started yet, so when it does, are we gonna see some serious price rises as there doesn't seem to be any spare capacity in the market even with Saudi Arabia pumping at 100%.
