Liberal anti-self defense, anti-gun activist Democrat who has built his career around the destruction of the Second Amendment shoots one of two home invaders.

I applaud his defending himself. Most will. But wow, what hypocritical behavior.

Thanks for posting that, with the Haiti earthquake as the main news now we know non of the liberal news media will not post this, it will remain as quite as possible.

Sort of reminds me of the load mouth female TV talk host [can't remember her name] that also supports no hand guns but her private security guard has one as well as the security guards for her gated community in LA, this is the elite view now days, we can have guns but not you...

Well that just proves it, the liberal media did keep it rather quite, don't let the people know that we can have guns but not the masses..

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('eastbay', 'L')iberal anti-self defense, anti-gun activist Democrat who has built his career around the destruction of the Second Amendment shoots one of two home invaders.

I know this is a little old, but could you let us know what information sources you are using to describe Senator Soles as a "Liberal anti-self defence, anti-gun activist" ???

The NRA has rated this guy an "A" on gun issues, so who is it that says he is "anti-self defense" and "anti-gun" ?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '2')008 Based on lifetime voting records on gun issues and the results of a questionnaire sent to all candidates in 2008, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund assigned Senator Soles a grade of A (with grades ranging from a high of A+ to a low of F).

I think it is back in the news because the grand jury just indicted him for assault with a deadly weapon.

This is a very strange case, considering that the man he shot was his client (he's a lawyer). He also bought a house and a corvette for another client (a 17 year old kid), the house burned down, and the car got smashed up. :? On top of that, he's being accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy 30 years ago.

I goofed. He's as strong of a Second Amendment supporter as they get, almost.

I received this today from a trusted friend and without researching to confirm the info, I just went ahead and presented it to all of you, MY trusted friends.

Please accept my sincere apologies. Below find the 'fixed' version:

Liberal pro-self defense, pro-gun activist Democrat who has built his career around the support of the Second Amendment shoots one of two home invaders.

I applaud his defending himself. Most will. But wow, what heroic behavior.

I hope that clarifies this. Again, my apologies. I hate it when I occasionally goof like this and will offer sincere apologies when it occurs.

Oh you're definitely a commie. 8O

Polls I've seen would suggest 90% + of us are. For example, I just polled a few friends I had over and that was the result. A typical cross section of Americana.... and for most, It's just too edgy to admit. But fairness and equality is a goal most can agree upon.

I had a professor that was a card carrying communist AND a lifetime NRA member. The two are not incompatible.

I think the only reason to use a gun is a home invasion. Ask them to leave, and if they don't, then it may be time to use a weapon.

I think this story may have a few angles we just don't know about, but there are lots of home invasions.

The best thing to do is to lock your door. Then it only becomes neccesary if people succeed in breaking in, and you will have time to call 911 in the meantime.

I'd much rather live in a place where we didn't have to worry about any of this, but unfortunately we don't.

This isn't your typical B&E. The guy breaking in was well known to the Senator and the Senator seems to have a whirl of other allegations around him. It almost seems like a political hit going on. Last year, some guy said the senator fondled him when he was 15 but now that the Senator has been indicted for using the gun to stop the intruder, the fondling guy recanted his story.

Anyway, the title of the thread should be changed to "Pro-Gun Senator Shoots Man"

Oh, it was just one simple question. A simple test.

If you responded 'no', well you are a capitalist pig imperialist lackey money grubbing bloodsucking stooge culture destroyer running dog eater of the people parasite.

If you responded 'yes', well you are a friend of the people... a 'commie'. :)

The question is this: Do you want happiness for everyone?
