$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')n off-duty rookie cop chasing a suspected car thief in East Harlem with his gun drawn was shot and killed Thursday night when an officer mistook him for a criminal.

When a policeman arrives at the scene, he has no idea who the criminal is. This is why police so much more often shoot the wrong guy than armed homeowners.

Hero policeman tasers 72 year old great grandmother, then lies that she threatened him. An excellent display of the policeman's subtle art.

A police officer unhappy with the service at McDonalds, brandished his weapon at the drive-through attendant. He was rewarded with a nice paid vacation.

It is difficult to say why police have such a hard time controlling their rage at drive-throughs.

Don't you find it odd when you see a policeman fishing through his wallet to pay for something, rather than just taking what they want? Making a purchase puts them on the same level as everyone else. Maybe that explains the McDonalds rage.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')ay was thrown in jail and was unable to bond out for three months. He didn't get out until he received a letter from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the State Attorney's Office that test results showed no drugs were found.

"While I was sitting in jail I lost my apartment. I lost everything," he said.

While May was behind bars, the Kissimmee Police Department towed his car and auctioned it off. He lost his job and was evicted. Now May is suing the city for false arrest and false imprisonment. He wants to be compensated for the loss of his car and job.

I can tell you exactly why.

It goes from authority and that authority being questioned.

Teacher to Coach to Police.

The police SEEM to have the most authority.
The Coach second. The Teacher almost none.

Geesh....it's just sickening what these Barney Fife dildoes get away with. I really wonder if we would be better off without them as such a big percentage of the "laws" they enforce are total horsesh*t written by lying, thieving lawyers.

Good God......what ever happened to America?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')yleene Klass was told off by police for waving a knife through her window to scare off two teenagers trying to break into her garden shed.

The musician was alone in her kitchen, with her two-year-old daughter asleep upstairs, when she grabbed the knife and shouted 'I'm calling the police'.

Officers who arrived at her house in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, on Friday warned her that it was illegal to carry an 'offensive weapon' even at home.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'S')imon Glik, a lawyer, was walking down Tremont Street in Boston when he saw three police officers struggling to extract a plastic bag from a teenager’s mouth. Thinking their force seemed excessive for a drug arrest, Glik pulled out his cellphone and began recording.

Within minutes, Glik said, he was in handcuffs.

“One of the officers asked me whether my phone had audio recording capabilities,’’ Glik, 33, said recently of the incident, which took place in October 2007. Glik acknowledged that it did, and then, he said, “my phone was seized, and I was arrested.’’

The charge? Illegal electronic surveillance.

Police hate having their actions recorded.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') wealthy businessman was arrested at home in front of his wife and young son over an email which council officials deemed ‘offensive’ to gipsies – but which he had not even written.

The email, concerning a planning appeal by a gipsy, included the phrase: ‘It’s the 'do as you likey' attitude that I am against.’

Council staff believed the email was offensive because ‘likey’ rhymes with the derogatory term ‘pikey’.

The 45-year-old IT boss was held in a police cell for four hours until it was established he had nothing to do with the email, which had been sent by one of his then workers, Paul Osmond.

But police had taken his DNA and later confirmed they would be holding it indefinitely.

The businessman, who has asked not to be named, was also fingerprinted in the police investigation estimated to have cost taxpayers up to £12,000.

He said two uniformed officers came to his house on a Sunday afternoon and said he would be handcuffed if he did not accompany them to the police station.

His computer and other internet equipment were also seized.

The insanity deepens. Of course, being "suspended" from government school is probably the best thing that could happen to him.

Police: Man with weapons cache was preparing for 'Armageddon'
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') Manchester-by-the-Sea man arrested for stockpiling weapons and ammunition in his home allegedly told police he was preparing for Armageddon.
Gregory D. Girard, 45, was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly storing approximately 20 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Manchester-by-the Sea police executed a search warrant at 23 Bridge St., police said. Girard faces four counts of possession of an infernal device and four counts of possession of a dangerous weapon. Additional charges are pending, police said.

“Mr. Girard indicated he was preparing for ‘Armageddon,’ which he felt was imminent, and he felt martial law would soon be imposed,” Chief Glenn McKiel said in a statement.

In addition to the weapons and ammunition, police found a large collection of camouflage clothing, knives, bulletproof vests, helmets, and several pairs of handcuffs. They also discovered stockpiles of medicine and nonperishable foods. An illegal indoor shooting range was also found in the attic, police said.

Fair enough IF it was an illegal indoor shooting range in the city, because some rounds can go trough walls, but for prepping? and WTF is an infernal device???

Frustrated Owner Bulldozes Home Ahead Of Foreclosure
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')OSCOW, Ohio -- Like many people, Terry Hoskins has had troubles with his bank. But his solution to foreclosure might be unique.

Hoskins said he's been in a struggle with RiverHills Bank over his Clermont County home for nearly a decade, a struggle that was coming to an end as the bank began foreclosure proceedings on his $350,000 home.

"When I see I owe $160,000 on a home valued at $350,000, and someone decides they want to take it – no, I wasn't going to stand for that, so I took it down," Hoskins said.

People like to assume that people who do crazy things really ARE crazy (as opposed to having genuine grievences) just like they assume that people who do evil things (Nazis and their followers being a classic example) are evil.

Read about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_Experiment or the book "Becoming Evil: How Ordinary People Commit Genocide and Mass Killing" to find out otherwise.

The gap between that person and the people who think he is crazy is not the wide chasm they think but more like a quantum distance that is jumped by an electron when a certain amount off energy is inputed to change the quantum state...

As for myself I am cut out to be neither rebel nor stormtrooper, so I will try and avoid bad situations, and hope rebels don't crash planes into me and I'll tell the stormtroopers that "these are not the droids you are looking for".
An ideology is by definition not a search for TRUTH-but a search for PROOF that its point of view is right

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'Y')ou should read his manifesto. It's not that crazy.

I read the whole thing from the smoking gun dot com. Defintitely not crazy, unless you think railing against injustice is crazy.

I've seen this story on other forums and a surprising number of people are coming out of the woodwork to chime in their IRS horror stories and many are even sympathetic. On forums dominated by political partisans and cornucopians no less.

I don't endorse his actions, but he was willing to die for what he believed in. Patriot? Terrorist? I think the gov will equate him and other supporters of the Constitution with terrorists. Hell they already have.

Thomas Jefferson once said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure."

Mr Stack watered the tree of liberty with his blood.

I think the revolution meme is spreading. This could end being the 'shot heard round the world'. I envision a future of limited and Constitutional government as I have stated here many times. My greatest hope is that it happens through the ballot box and that no suffering, violence, or deaths of innocents would be required to make that change.

Something tells me though, that the ruling class will not easily give up their reigns. The media treatment of the incident will shine a light on their feelings I think. Of course most people will not read his writing, and just think what they are told to think by their telescreens.

It's easier that way. People I talk to generally don't want to talk about what's wrong. It has become accepted social convention in this country to avoid discussions of politics. That's crazy. We live in country where our thoughts are supposed to matter. If no one wants to talk about it how can there be any meaningful change that is not directed from the top, designed of course, to benefit those at the top?

I don't see it.

Finally I close with another great qoute from one of our founders, Samuel Adams:

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better then the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsel or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
