What the bleep do we know

Has anyone seen that documentary? Its basic premise is that we create our own reality. I know we've all heard that before but it explains the whys (partially based in quantum physics) behind the concept and the physiological basis behind the idea.

So like what is it you want to know? We create our own reality as the end of a physiological basis? That explains the whys of the question but what was the question?

If I created by own reality I'd be sitting on the beach with a Pina Colada in one hand and a very, very sexy Latino hooker in the other as my hundreds of millions in the bank kept racking up more money for me in interest.

I thought the film was horrible. It features "Ramtha", JZ Knight's channeled being from Atlantis. Ummkay.

If I could create my own reality, it would automatically DELETE posts that don't have anything to do with Peak Oil, so that the ones that do have to do with it DON'T GET KNOCKED OFF THE QUEUE.

I avoided it like the plague, but from what I've read of it, it features some remarkably bad "science."

I'd never have guessed that about you, Spec. I'd have thought you'd go for a Latina hooker....

If I created my own reality...

I would hop on a jet to a small Caribbean island and scuba dive all day long, then kick back in a home on the beach.

Oh wait... maybe we do create our own reality?
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Ludi: can you point me to some places where I can see how the science is bad?

Its a really interesting movie but like PO I doubt there are a lot of people who would be interested in it because it puts the responsibility for our own actions where they belong: with each of us. I like the message.

Who is this JZKnight and what do you have against her? I read that they did a whole bunch of tests on her for hours on end and actually proved she wasn't a fake.

I don't do acid and I am allergic to pot. Has no one here had things happen that they couldn't explain? Ever been walking down the street thinking to yourself and have someone answer you? (like a real person passing or walking near you?)

Have you never had one of those ah-ha moments where you knew that it was such an inspiration that it couldn't come from within you? Ever have times when you'd swear that you did affect an outcome just because you had decided to change you attitude.

Ever have times where you knew things were going to happen before they did? dreams that predict the future? or are you all dead?

I'm only dead about 65% of the time, the other 35% is pretty good though.

Ever see one of those bums who talks to walls, or thin air, and just seems oblivious to the rest of the world? And, who always seems content in his own little world. I think, maybe these people have reached the level in which they can manipulate reality. [smilie=tongue3.gif]

Perhaps an obscure reference to "futomic energy"..which may be the solution to PO. Col. Bleep supposedly came from ZeroZero Island on the planet Futura as well as the future (see; Philadelphia experiment)
