$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')n the rare instances where I come across a book that is a feast for the mind and soul I wrestle with it as with a lover.

I'd love this opener if only I could somehow not picture it coming from this guy:

Ruppert: "Having written on the subject of collapse for almost a decade..."

:lol:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hile I had serious doubts about America's ability to recover from Katrina, I am certain that - barring divine intervention - the United States is finished; not only as a superpower, but possibly even as a single, unified nation with the arrival of Hurricane Rita.

Mike Ruppert Jan. 9, 2009
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '*')I can pretty much bet that as many as 50-75 new Executive Orders will be announced within 72 hours of the inauguration.

*I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a couple of days with 700+ point losses in the Dow over the next ten days to two weeks.

*Reports have suggested that China may dump half of its $1.4 trillion dollar holdings within the next two months.

*As I correspond with a number of key friends and researchers around the world we have all concluded that it may be just a matter of weeks (yikes!) before we start seeing major disruptions in everyday life.

*Soon it will be necessary for me to look at topics which we've mentioned in passing. These include civil unrest, camps, emergency communications and preparedness as the threat of societal breakdown becomes imminent. It's time to start doing that.

Mike's predictions form earlier this year:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '-')"The end" of the U.S. economy by March or April.
-Gold $2000 an oz. by March
-People starving and screaming for food by August
-Conditions 10x worse than The Great Depression by August
-Oil above $100, gas above $3.00 by Summer.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('JohnDenver', 'R')uppert is a paranoid fool, with well-documented mental health issues.

that says more about you than it does about Ruppert.

Ruppert is a double-whistleblower - first about drug dealing involving the CIA, then about 9-11 and related issues, such as the death of Pat Tillman.

the first round of whistleblowing cost him career as a cop - and bottomless stress.

more stress came with the second round, which was associated with his publishing company
http://www.fromthewilderness.com/

if Ruppert made one mistake, it was a very human one - not preparing himself adequately for the stress that comes from being a true investigative reporter.

people beat up on Ruppert, then wonder how guys like Madoff didn't get outed earlier.

it's because genuine whistleblowers have a tendency to get beaten up on - and most Americans who witness fraud & crime on-the-job are too chicken to do anything about it.

Yes, but it is impolite to notice. Shining a light under the rock where this particular "expert" resides could be considered downright rude in some circles.

From today's news about the sexual harrassment suit, sounds like Ruppert was trying to rob the cradle with a 25-yr old employee & it backfired.
An ideology is by definition not a search for TRUTH-but a search for PROOF that its point of view is right

Equals barter and negotiate-people with power just take

You cant defend freedom by eliminating it-unknown

Our elected reps should wear sponsor patches on their suits so we know who they represent-like Nascar-Roy

I wonder if they will include his latest personal screwup in the credits of Collapse?

"Warning...the talking head in this show....<fill in everything JD references here in Post 423>

Maybe Mike should have hired Savinar to represent him. Now THAT would have been a riot.

Quick announcement. Mike can't pay his rent for October, would like anyone who can to send him some money?

http://www.mikeruppert.blogspot.com/

Our man is in a bind...we need him in the fight! I'd send him a baloney sandwich if it would fit through the paypal system if I could, but those of you with cash, even this deep into the post peak world of cheaper gasoline and a recovering economy, for the love of Mike, help support our man Mike! :lol:

Wow. Mike lives literally minutes from where I used to live. I think he should use his eviction as a sign to get the hell out of southern california. No well respected doomer who seriously means what he says would want to live there.

Exactly. Why bother with the truth when you have cute diversions like JD and -sense?

Mike was never a whistle blower. Although using people convicted of the sexual exploitation of children as sources ( anyone check on Delmart Vreeland recently, and how many centuries he's been sent to prison for, and why? :-D ) for how the government put the 9/11 plot into action is simply textbook for a means of ruining personal credibility and the ineffective use of yellow journalism.

I wonder if this woman knows about the lawsuit Mike lost? Or what that hand on his shoulder might make him think? Lets just hope she doesn't work for him either!

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('shortonsense', 'J')D and I are diversions Pstarr? Please....
-sense (that's minus) if you please :razz:) you don't seem to know the difference between IEA and BP crude measures, (because the latter is double-dip that includes ethanol produced with petroleum)

How could you possibly be a playa?

And when you manipulate previous posts, do it better. i can't constantly be repairing your malfeasance.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to talk about the actual topic listed at the top of the thread either.

Why don't you troll another thread, maybe claim we're building TWO gigawatt power plants a month, see how fast someone notices you are just making stuff up again?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '
')I was led to believe that we exchanged information and opinions on this board, not cartoons. Do you have anything serious to say or is everything you do an idiotic little joke?

Jokes are appropriate on certain topics...for example...when Mike is referred to a "genuine whistleblower". Jokes are also appropriate for major league crossups, like someone who claims to know anything about science being completely obvious to sublimation,thinking that there isn't any locally grown produce or meat available in America, or that the US is building a gigawatt coal fired plant every month when they certainly aren't.

Try not to allow levity into the topic by making stuff up and presenting it with a straight face and I promise to not notice how such things make a mockery of your "webexpert" rating.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '
')I own Mike's book 'Beyond the Rubicon' and found it to be challenging, well researched (50 pages of accurate reference), personally energizing. While I do not understand or necessarily agree with everything Rubbet says, I find his passion and information bedeviling at best, and downright scary at worst.

Why don't you take your little school-boy insults back out to the playground.

Why don't you explain for those of us who also wandered through Mike's book how well his theory holds up now that we all know exactly what sort of credibility his sexual predator sources have? You must realize that once someone is convicted and sentenced to jail for a few centuries, that their credibility might be a little less than stellar, right Pstarr?
