Watch the posters at the sites. The company made, slick looking one's are usually pro obama's, classic astroturf. Where are all those obama folks from the elections? Not to be seen.
This has turned into a disaster for O. If it passes, he loses big time next October. If it fails, he's a lame duck, all in 7 - 8 months of his presidency. A huge majority in the House, a veto proof Senate, and he blames the Republicans!! Exactly what you should have expected from an inexperienced politician.
And this from someone who is actually ambivalent about the health care proposals.

"I'm from the government and I'm here to help".

After watching the lightning fast response of the Feds to make certain that the big banks/wall street didn't suffer too much inconvenience during this financial collapse, all at the expense of main street and our children, the politicos are surprised at the cold receptions they're getting?

And now they're trumpeting the end of the recession because business as usual seems to be right around the corner, Soon corporate America will be back to full steam doing what they do best, gorging themselves on the efforts of hard working Americans.

What an amazing disconnect between the elitists and main street.

Amazing, the posts here and neither pstarr nor Preston rattled out a protest. The Dems healthcare must be a complete flop, recognized by even their most ardent. In a year with majorities everywhere, only incompetence beyond belief could give this result.

The Public option is bad and unworkable, sadly though if the public option fails we'll be left with an equally unworkable alternative; The status quo. The problems with health care are varied but most of it comes from greed, and the unholy marriage between Corp(rape) America and Big government . But ultimately the blame for the problems of health care, as well as all the problems of this country lay at the feet of the American people. Who while having purposely been made ignorant, still bear the responsibility of ensuring good governance. Unfortunately you have only two types of Americans these days. Those who believe government should do everything for everyone, and those who believe that government should do everything for THEM.*

*Correction their is a third type of American, those who believe in the Constitution but it's such a small number as to not even be worthy of mention.
