Hal Turner: FBI trained NJ blogger to incite others

Unread postby mattduke » Wed 19 Aug 2009, 21:23:09

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') New Jersey blogger facing charges in two states for allegedly making threats against lawmakers and judges was trained by the FBI on how to be deliberately provocative, his attorney said Tuesday.

Hal Turner worked for the FBI from 2002 to 2007 as an "agent provocateur" and was taught by the agency "what he could say that wouldn't be crossing the line," defense attorney Michael Orozco said.

"His job was basically to publish information which would cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest," Orozco said.

Prosecutors have acknowledged that Turner was an informant who spied on radical right-wing organizations, but the defense has said Turner was not working for the FBI when he allegedly made threats against Connecticut legislators and wrote that three federal judges in Illinois deserved to die.

"But if you compare anything that he did say when he was operating, there was no difference. No difference whatsoever," Orozco said.

Hal Turner is way over the top.

I've never heard anyone talk so crazy so consistently.

I never could decide if he was crazy or just stupid.

If his job as a professional provocateur was to "publish information which would cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest," how is this different from entrapment?

Now I'm curious how many of these "professional provocateurs" are visiting PO forums.

Doh! Once again I am reminded that I am not paranoid ENOUGH.

So the FBI was trying to incite people to violence in order to arrest people. I hope the FBI would'nt be that stupid. It's one thing to setup drug busts or prostitution/ sexual preditor stings but its something else entirely to incite orthers to violence in the hopes that they will commit a crime. If the FBI incites someone to murder and they commit it. The family of the victim would then have every right to sue the ever loving bejeezus out of the FBI. I would hope the FBI would not be that stupid and I don't think they are so I think Hal is'nt quite telling the whole truth here.
Then again the FBI is a politcal orgnization so who knows for sure

All I know is that the skinheads and neonazis ain't gonna be too happy with Mr. Turner after finding out he was a snitch

Look at the high profile "terrorist" busts and tell me the FBI isn't "that stupid"

anybody with an IQ above 50 knew Turner was a snitch.
