$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Quinny', 'M')aybe someones still hoping for the critique of Marxist Theory from the right (or anyone).

Yo Q
Capitalism (AKA 'the right'?) didn't exist before Marx came along - so these days, what starts as criticism, just ends up in the sort-of dead-end loop that characterises (for example) most of American Politics; i.e without Socialism, you ain't got not no politics...
Hence all the flags & guff & cheerleaders. Wattawasteoftime.
Tony Benn for President. He'd show 'em...

And we all sing along like before

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('americandream', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('outcast', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'Y')ou only have choices to the extent that you remain free to indulge in wastefulness.
Actually communist economies are typically the LEAST efficient and most polluting in the world. Energy saving technology as well as pollution control technologies were all invented in capitalist societies.
Beware of what you read in capitalist media as they invariably are privately owned and have a pro-capitalist agenda. We will NEVER get the truth on places such as the USSR, filtered as it was through biased surces and those "dissidents" who were bribed to underwrite the propaganda we are fed. Use your common sense and some rudimentary arithmetic.
In a communist society you have, for example, one factory producing toothpaste. In a capitalist society you have 100 factories producing toothpaste.
It takles minimal intelligence to figure out as to which is using resources in a profligate manner and discharging the most waste, unit for unit, the exercise is that simple.
The KISS principle works just as well in politics as it does elsewhere in life.

The Kiss principal must have been in full swing when Stalinists decided to locate factories in residential areas, causing some of the worst air pollution on the planet for a majority of their citizens. Capitalism is flawed but Soviet style communism isn't the answer. It beggars imagination that anyone would promote it as a solution.
