If they don't read them we don't need them.

Greta Van Susteren talking about the push to pass the health care bill came up with a one liner on Fox News the other night that goes to the core of our political problems. She said referring to the bill: "If they don't read them, we don"t need them." I think that applies to both the bill and congress. No wonder we are in a world of hurt when these idiots support legislation they have not read and do not understand.

Passing legislation that was unread is par for the course.

How many pages was the Patriot Act and how many people read it all?

Par for the course does not excuse incompetence and dereliction of duty. This is why congress is about as popular as a wet dog. There banal, sycophant, self serving actions are sucking the life out of the country.

Get rid of the house and the senate... just have the president make all decisions. Its almost there now, might as well go all the way.

I have a bill that I have written that I would like very much for Congress to pass without reading it. Can someone please inform me how I would go about this?

I would very much like to attach an amendment to your bill.
