$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Grautr', 'T')hey did a program in the 70s in Britain where a group of people went and lived for a year in an Iron age village. It was a very popular show and in 2002, I think it was, they did a remake.
On the first night of the remake they undercooked the chicken they were given because it was dark and several had to be hospitalized for food poisoning.
Yeah, I seem to remember seeing that remake. I think a kid had to go to the hospital.
How do you undercook chicken, by the way? You cut it up and either boil it or roast it on a fire.. or am I wrong, and cooking meat the survivalist way is harder than I think it is?
(also, putting modern people in an iron age situation is a bit unfair. I don't think our immune system can compare to folks who grew up eating poorly cooked food. Similar to Westerners getting sick from tap water in Mexico.. they're just not acclimated)
