how do we know they're not counterfeited ?

that almost seems like an honorable way to make a living. for someone that wants a historical memento, does it matter if it's genuine or a high-quality counterfeit ? it's not like the Weimar Secret Service is going to be hassling anybody. also, this way, everybody who wants one can have one.
