Every time I see this thread title I can't help but think of good 'ol Roccman and his "if you think your FICO score is going to mean a goddamn thing in 6 months, think again" rants. I can only imagine what kind of input he would have had on this thread...........

A person's credit history, shouldn't come into consideration, when he/she is applying for a job. It's a job, not a credit application. People get into trouble for a variety of reasons, often health related, btw. It is nobody's business, but their's and their creditors.

Many job seekers in high unemployment regions can't find work simply because they don't have a high school diploma, don't have reliable transportation and can't pass pre-employment screening (skill assessment, psychological testing, drug testing, background check).
