$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Pops', 'H')ey you bums! Thanks for asking about me, I was just taking one of my many PO.com sabbaticals to recharge my pontification batteries. --snip--
The doc said I was half-a-day from hell - such things have a tendency to change people's outlook, I'm anxious to see how this will change mine. I'll let you know.

Glad you're ok Pops. Don't delay those checkups! :)

OH POPS!!!!

I am very happy to hear that you've found the cause of your condition and that you can *live* with it....somewhat...at least you can maintain things hopefully. Diabetes is a real killer. I've seen so many that have gone the..almost... final stage when my sister (from my birth family) was going through dialysis.

It's a whole new way of life for you now. Just be grateful to be alive, and take this seriously. I want Hailey Fey to know her grandpa a LOT longer. And I want to have a buddy onboard here longer as well.

Take life one day at a time, as we cherish our friends here, one at a time too.

Be well,

Blu
PS..I guess you'll still get to "taste" the sweetness of life. Just a little differently now. ;-P

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'H')i folks. Only logging in now from work. Summer is coming so unless I get a second job it will be quite a while gone for me. Don't have a farm to work like Pops does, but I have to be real careful with my money this time of year. I won't be back to a confort zone until October. Fortunately the schools need subs.

**Hey PMS!

Time to get that job at the local garden center then! I know it's gardening season for most of the year where you live, but still, there are "seasons" within seasons there, and I know that you have folks still need to grow food/etc. out there. I employ teachers, etc. here at our garden centers, did you ever think about that?

BUT... i am trying to synthetize my own energy and become part of autotrofa, and that's why i need nature (the trees' specialty is photosynthesis and meditation... so i guess it was natural to just ask them for the "instructions" on how be a "non feeder"; and part of Plantae or similar "kingdoms")!
