That is exactly what I think about my dream posse, they are no always the exact same physical beings, but the same connected feeling and I will try to count the number of dream friends next time around...

No, it is just something I picked up once.

Maybe it was 'Man and his symbols' by Carl Jung?

I'll check it out. But if that is the inside of my brain conciousness...I have some serious deferred maintenance :-D

I don't dream that often. Last night had a dream that a world leader, as a symbol of the nation, was found hung and the big debate was whether he "hung himself" or if he had been lynched. The leader was dressed in green army fatigues. Those debating the issue we deciding what the "official history" would be, knowing it would be debated for decades.

There was some sadness, but mostly a matter-of-fact deal with the consequences attitude.

Probably just reflects my anxieties about a center right government in Israel. While I have had premonitions before, I have never had a dream that accurately foreshadowed the future.

Dreams are a personification of ones self.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'L')ike Freud, Jung believed in the existence of the unconscious. However, he didn't see the unconscious as animalistic, instinctual, or sexual; he saw it as more spiritual. Dreams were a way of communicating and acquainting yourself with the unconscious. Dreams were not attempts to conceal your true feelings from the waking mind, but rather they were a window to your unconscious. They served to guide the waking self to achieve wholeness. Dreams offered a solution to a problem you are facing in your waking life.

The symbolism seemed to indicate that the nation/leader was dealt a military death. I never saw the face but there was never a debate in the dream about who it was, only the official story as to the cause of death (the truth seemed beyond reach) "victim of self" or "victim of others."

Again, it is just Netanyahu anxiety making itself known in a dream, but interesting none the less.

edit:
--------------
bold added so VisionMaster will notice: yes I think.. or am anxious that... a Netanyahu priemership spells the end for the modern state of Israel... an anxiety that was below the surface until I began to think about the dream; nothing more or less.

Can't get any green fatigue Fidel pics to load...that is very strange?

I wonder Wisconsin, if the image of Saddham being hung stuck in your mind? He too wore his share of fatigues...

Although perhaps Vision is on to something as I feel we are all having to grapple with our beleifs as of late, conjure up the demons that TPTB have been creating for us all these years, The Nazi's, The Koreans, The Vietnamese, The Cold War ( Russians), The War on Drugs, The War on Terror, The Taliban, Al Queda....etc.

I think the real demon(s) are being called out and we will see a much more succint future, albeit different from our past, I wonder if Peak Oil dreaming is different from current dreaming, once all the demons are gone and the lust for dollars and debt takes a curtain call...ahhh that is a peaceful dream...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Couple of heavy, lucid dreams in the past couple days...

One I was having to go identify bodies in the morgue. They all had no head and their arms were crossed and they were on their back. The strange thing is the dream was quite peaceful, I only got the heebie jeebies when I woke up? Long detailed dream, going to meeting about what to do about the body count, who or what it could be, etc...

The other dream was all shapes, triangles, rhombus, circles, etc. all overlapping and then making a picture that came into focus...again long and detailed with a great many scenarios that "popped" in to my field of vision once the shapes came around, almost like a puzzle....

Any thoughts?

I have an on going dream that involves me rounding up people into tiny cells. Afterwards, I find myself smashing their faces in with shovels, but instead of dying their faces just get flatter and flatter.

Everynight I have this dream, I also have another dream that involves me watching the news over several weeks and slowing watching as each of the anchors are replaced, I never find out why they are being replaced.

There is more to it, but it gets pretty disturbing.

Now that you mentioned it... yeah, since about the start of this year, my dreams have gone really nuts and wild at the same time. The nut part is that I am seeing my own life through my own eyes again, it started with kindergarten and now I am finishing school already.

The wild part is that I can "control" these dreams and I know that these are dreams that I am seeing, hence I always try to understand by talking and asking from people around me, why am I there. The weird thing is, some people "know" that they are a dream and tell me not to worry about it, others look at me like I am crazy and go on doing their daily business. Sometimes it's a fun ride, other times it really freaks me out as it's as real as it can get - i feel like really being there, touch and smell and everything works like in the real world. I once asked from a good friend of mine about his dreams and mentioned that I am seeing some strange things with him in the dreams as well- he had a really big surprise on his face and said: "we were in school again, right?" I had never told him about the school thing.
