Last friday I was explaining peakoil to a Maroccan-Dutch guy, when he interrupted saying that Marocco produced plenty of oil, as in that I shouldn't worry about it, then he wanted to make a bet on it for 50 euros so I said ok.

Then right after he started taking back the words of plenty, so we argued a little bit about that, because that's waht he said and I know marocco does produce a very small amount of oil but that it's negligable compared to world oil production and could never postpone peakoil. "plenty" isn't the same as "any".

what do you think?

Actually Morocco has increased their oil production quite a bit lately but they still only rank 95th in the world.

Apparently Tunisia have oil reserves, but they're keeping it for themselves (or so I was told when I went there), Don't tell the Americans!
