John: Why are we we smirking?

Hilary: Hell if I know. Politics?

John: heh heh, you got me there!

Hilary: how are those old wounds doing?

John: ok, how about yours?

McCain: "Well, Hillary ... it seems that Obama actually fell for it"
Hillary: "I know ... I can't believe it. Looks like we got out just in the nick of time."
McCain: "Where are you headed?"
Hillary: "Well, Bill is looking into islands in the French Polynesia."
McCain: "Yeah, as soon as we dump our 5 homes, that's probably where we're headed."
Hillary: "Ummm, John, you own 7 homes, not 5."
McCain: [winks]

John McCain is telling Hillary with his eyes that he has a room at the Marriott and 6 hours to kill before flying home to Phoenix.

The Onion continues to put out gem after gem. I've sent that link to a half-dozen people so far. What a classic!

John: thinking "Wouldn't she be surprised to learn that me winning this election has already been arranged?"
Hillary: thinking "That old fool! He actually thinks he has a chance of winning!"

Pretty deadly satire I thought. I was a little apprehensive as I think some of the people in the video actually post on here.

They were zombies before the election, too. Once GM gets its SUV bailout, he's gonna plug electrodes into Americans & use them as batteries to power Chinese electric cars. They're saved by Oooobs.
People first, then things, then dollars.
There will be enslavement, cannibalism, & zombie invasions.

Why was Monte going stir-crazy living in a bunker with Roccman?

[spoil]He was getting Catton fever![/spoil]

Corny, yes, so make up your own.

Keep 'em playful & light... or not... maybe mods can split off questionable jokes to the Hall of Flames.

dutch/chinese proverb

Unread postby phaster » Wed 28 Jan 2009, 15:06:58

usually I don't forward eMail, but I figure why take a chance on not
winning the lottery, hehehehe if ya read the following eMail message below which I just got yesterday you'll understand.
Basically though I thought it was appropriate sentiment for not only the bourgeoisie who had lots of "Irrationally Exuberants" during the last economic bubble, but the sentiment is also appropriate for all those suprime lenders and borrowers, who lost sight that money is an end all and be all. IMHO money should be looked at as just another tool which should be used with care and deliberation! BTW happy year of the ox to everyone...
