I saw a typo earlier so I'll fix it:

Democrats = more war
Republicans = more war

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dinopello', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('AlexdeLarge', 'P')oisonous Politics??? You mean like................

The cult of personality surrounding "The One"

What is your meaning ? "The One" is a moniker made up by the Republicans to make the religious wing of the party suspect that Obama was the AntiChrist in the End Time, yes ?

Maddow interviews Tim Layahe who explains why there is a reasonable chance that Obama is not the "Anti-Christ" .

Good point there.

Besides, the Antichrist is supposed to come AFTER the Rapture, so they can't even keep track of their own apostate revisionist crappy-paperback pseudo religious bullshit.

Obama is not the antichrist from some Christian's delirium dream. He is a garden varity Street politician puked up from the Chicago Machine. A socialist who believes his own press and who's mentor is a bigot. A gifted Teleprompter reader who does not have a clue on what he is doing. But his head has swelled from all his fans adolration and perhaps he is even drunk with the power of the office.

But go ahead and chant if it makes you feel better. Ready???? Here we go ....... Yes We Can! Yes We CAn! Yes We Can!!! LOL

The McCain campaign mockingly called Obama "the one" to make fun of some of his curiously egocentric statements.

From the McCain ad, "The One":

OBAMA: A light will shine down from somewhere. It will alight upon you. You experience an epiphany and you will say to yourself, "I have to vote for Barack."

NARRATOR: And the world will receive his blessings.

OBAMA: This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

CHARLTON HESTON AS MOSES: Behold His mighty hand!

NARRATOR: Barack obama may be the one. But is he ready to lead?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', '
')Yes, but Obama is borrowing TWO TRILLION DOLLARS just this year for his stimulus, budget revision, housing support, etc. etc. Obama is borrowing at a rate 5-7 times greater then Bush ever did. .

Only if you stick with Bush's umicorns and cotton candy accounting methods that left the Iraq war and a bunch of other stuff off the books. I guess he learned that at Harvard business with the jokers that looted the banking system.

But anyone that would rather attack Obama for NOT lying to them needs to go to Al-Anon with the other masochists.

Bush isn't President anymore. Obama is the president.

It is Obama that is proposing vast amounts of new spending that result in a two trillion dollar deficit this year.

Stupid people always think they are the smartest guy in the room, but the profoundly stupid are the one who refuse to believe that there is any such thing as a smart person. The GOP has that demographic locked up.

You sure about that?? LOL

Nobody said your Messiah is not smart. He is just very inexperienced and is trying to lead/con the sheeple into his socialist paradise. His associations as a street agitator with the likes of Rev. Bigot Wright and the terrorist Bill Ayers does not prepare one for high office. (At least it didn't until now! )

PS The stock market agrees with this assessment ! ;)

The conservatives I see look fine to me. Of course they might be gibbering paranoid loons at home, but they look fine at the store, etc.

They're still driving around with their "McCain/Palin" stickers on their SUVs. :)

Same with the liberals around here. They are mostly very nice people even if they are dope fiends in secret.

Of course, they are the ones riding bicycles with studded tires at -40 and with Obama bumper stickers still sloppily glued around the handle bars
