That's what people were saying 40 years ago! Forty years ago it was unfathomable to the doomers of the world that we could actually feed 6+ billion people. Hundreds of millions of people - if not billions - were supposed to be starving to death by now while drought, erosion and every natural catastrophe imaginable made crops worse and worse.
Instead, forty years later world population has doubled, but the Dieoff is nowhere in sight and obesity is as much a worldwide problem as is starvation, if not moreso.
OF2 - are you denying that soil erosion is a huge problem, or that overpopulation is nothing to worry about? Already many areas in Asia are facing horrible droughts with water sources literally drying up. 100s of millions without water...
