Find Recycling Centers: Earth911

I came across this web page today and thought I'd share:

I was wondering where I would recycle my CFLs and the Earth911 web site made it easy. (I learned some of the Home Depots in my area will take back dead CFLs.)
There’s a strange irony related to this subject [oil and gas extraction] that the better you do the job at exploiting this oil and gas, the sooner it is gone.

To cbxer55: It's attitudes like that which partly explains why the world is fu****, oops, messed up. No one takes responsibility for anything. "They" will take care of it. Right. For one thing, do you think a CFL will survive the machinery packing that stuff into a landfill, or even the compacting garbage truck?

And then people wonder why there's mercury in their corn syrup. Sad. "Be the Change You Want to See In the World." Be a good steward of the Earth.
