There are vastly more important things going on than an airline accident in which no one dies. That's for sure. Yet the news media continued to shamelessly and transparently milk the "story" today.
Despite the earlier comment by someone, I believe strongly that much of the massive emphasis is a result of the media people using planes to travel frequently. They're tightly tied in to that system, and this is a case of their reportage reflecting their personal and institutional stake in the airline industry.
