seriously what's the point in discussing some kind of technology that doesn't even exist in the real world.
Sure I believe that it's possible that sometime in the future maybe in 10 years from now that we can fly some airplanes on algae and maybe cars, assuming that there is no other alternative by then.
The reason why Mr. bush invested so much in Corn ethanol probaby is because he knew that algae isn't viable for a long time.
I'm getting tired of this hype in algae that it will take all our problems away and that it's a miracle cure to keep exponentional growth going. A bunch of propaganda to me

The irony....... Written in defense of someone who couldn't figure out an occupation strategy for Iraq, written by someone who probably ( And I apologize in advance IF I am wrong...) doesn't even know what the Vietnam CAP program was that would have informed him of what an intelligent military policy in both Afghanistan and Iraq would have looked like.

I think what he meant to say is that we have sure proof that the military are interested in this, but a few here would never even consider it a remote possiblity, as they are alternatives-phobic.
