I've watched what you guys over there call football. Boring. Nothing ever happens. It's like watching paint dry.

Why do you continue to appropriate the word football for a bastardised version of rugby? You dumb down our language to make it easier to spell for your attention-deficit-disordered populace, and then you go and pretend that football is in fact played by big girls in armour without using their feet. You could at least have called it pitchball, ffs!

And don't talk about baseball. It's just rounders, a girls' game :twisted: At least they don't wear body armour, though.

Grow up, man. Britain is at least as screwed up as the US. The only differences I could tell between the 2 countries is the architecture in Britain is a little older, and the ridiculous British accent that mysteriously gets thicker when a foreigner comes around.

Get over yourselves, and go to the dentist.

Tomorrow is the big day. San Diego is bankrupt and Pittsburgh is doing fine. Its just a matter of time to see how that plays out. But the game should be interesting. Big Ben has had four serious concussions, one just two weeks ago. Rivers is healthy and the number one rated QB in the NFL. Sproles is hot. Go Ravens. We could have the AFC championship game right here in San Diego.

Also, remember, while the Chargers are winless at Pittsburgh during the regular season (0-13), they are undefeated against my hometown Steelers* in the playoffs (2-0).

The Chargers made it to the Super Bowl that year and got way outclassed by the red hot 49ers, one of the best teams ever. Are there any NFC teams of that caliber this year? The Ravens are hot and the Chargers will have their work cut out for them after they dispatch the Steelers.

Its looking bad for the chargers --down 35-17 late in the 4th. Big Ben is really hot and the Charger's defense is too tired to cope.

Too bad LT tore the ligament on his pubic bone-----they really could've used him in this game.

Yeah, but he's not the old LT anyway. Rivers was off and they had too many penalties. Oh well, back to worrying about financial crisis and peak oil.

He did have one of his dazzling returns. Then Rivers threw an interception. I suppose that the consensus will be, now that Sproles is a free agent, is that he is not a candidate for running back but that he is a talented special teams player.
