Might as well have some fun while it lasts. The Chargers are on fire. Good luck Colts, the Chargers are chomping at the bit to prove their 8 and 8 season was a fluke and they are much better than that. Rivers snubbed for the Pro-Bowl? Hah, he's the hottest QB in the NFL. Chargers 38, Colts 6. OK maybe Colts 21.

I remember when they were talking about Rivers getting snubbed for the Pro Bowl while Favre got in with lesser numbers (pretty mediocre actually). One of the reasons 'they' said was because Rivers was on a crap team that wasn't going to make it to the playoffs while the Jets were. Good call guys.

Just goes to show that they shouldn't do Pro Bowl balloting until after the regular season.

Chargers will still stink it up in the post season. Oooh, they beat Oakland and KC. Then they beat a TB team that a guy your age at QB and then Denver, which constantly chokes it almost every year. Whew, what a schedule.

I'm picking the Colts. Better turnover ratio and QB. Oh, and they also beat the Bolts already this year IN SD.

We'll see next Saturday. Chargers are firing on all cylinders and they are red hot. That's the team people were expecting at the start of the season. They finally showed up. I'd bet dollars to donuts the Colts are nervous. btw, Rivers broke Dan Fout's TD passing record. Tomlinson is back in form. Look out Colts.

Trust me, the Broncos are good at making any running back look good. Tomlinson's game against them doesn't prove that he is back. Rivers, on the other hand, never left the building. The Colts are vulnerable against a full field passing attack like the Chargers can bring. If Tomlinson does step it up and take enough of the pressure off of Rivers they could take it.

They lost to Pittsburg by one point, the Colts by three. They slaughtered New England. The Chargers were not even playing up to their game earlier. I don't know why, but they are good to go now. btw, quarterback ratings: Phillip Rivers, 105.5, Peyton Manning, 95. So much for a better QB. Rivers is the number one rated QB in the NFL. We all saw how he performed last year in the playoffs while injured thanks to a dirty low hit to the knees by the Titans. They beat the Titans then and they can do it again.

Wow, what a great game. I really didn't think that the Bolts would have much of a shot when I read that LT and Gates would be very limited due to injuries. Sproles has turned out to be a pretty great back, reminiscent of LT in a way although nowhere near his capabilities of a few years ago. He'll be one guy getting a major pay raise next year.

I'm 0-2 so far this post-season. Come on Fins and Eagles!

Don't feel bad, USA TODAY had 8 experts predict the game and every single one of them picked the Colts. Sproles has been terrific since his rookie year. He once returned a kick off from nine yards in the end zone all the way down the field for a TD setting a record 109 yard return.

Looks like the Ravens will win, sending the Chargers to the East Coast against Blitzburgh.

I would say that the Steelers already beat the Chargers but so did the Colts. I think this will be an even better game; although going East isn't the easiest thing for the the Chargers this year (1-4).

The Steelers won by one point. And just like with the Colts, the Chargers have a history of defeating the Steelers in crucial games. If the Chargers do pull it off, I expect they will have to face the Titans anyway. Hopefully Sproles and Scifres will carry them through XLIII. My guess is the Chargers will beat the Steelers and if they can beat the Titans they'll go all the way this time. Finally. I thought they had the best team in 1981. But they have yet to win a Superbowl.

Tomlinson did not look to happy when Sproles went off for 300+ yards. Could be time to trade him. If the Chargers can play defense the way they did last night, I give them a chance. If the line does not put pressure on the Pitt QB, they will lose by 21....

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')ut they have yet to win a Superbowl.

Doesn't the "Chargers" stand for Charge Cards, ie. credit cards? They should fail because they are representations of all that is unholy and wrong with this world. Die Chargers Die!

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')omlinson did not look to happy when Sproles went off for 300+ yards.

I saw that too. San Diego would go crazy if they let Sproles go this year (unrestricted free agent at end of year) and then see him pull a Michael the Burner on them while LT wallows in another injury-plagued season.

Remember that backfield they had a few years ago: LT (top 5 all-time), Sproles and Turner? Almost as good as the Steelers' backfield from '05 with Bettis, Duce Staley and Parker.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', ' ')The Steelers won by one point.

Yeah, because the refs pulled a Hochuli. Polamalu TD should've counted - thus 7 points.

This game, however, won't be as close. It's gonna be an old fashioned beat off.

I'm tired of rapist Jew stories and doom and gloom. I'm tired of financial scandals and worldwide financial collapse. Just give me a good old NFL playoff game between the Chargers and the Steelers. That would make me happy for a little while longer. After that comes the deluge. None of us live forever.

21 degrees on Sunday. No snow though. Snow the day before though. I am predicting a 100% chance of a Category Five Harrison. It's going to be messy. 10+ sack game total.

TITANS all the way baby!!

I can't wait 'til this weekend...

I can't really decide who I want to win the other AFC game. I'd like to see the chargers for some retribution; and I'd like to see the steelers just to stomp on their dish towel again!

Goldfish are more interesting than soccer. Yes, soccer. Football is the NFL. 8) And they do quite a bit of kicking. That's perhaps the main reason the Chargers are going to play the Steelers, fantastic punting.
