Best of 2008: Most Absurd/Wingnut-ish Post

Unread postby wisconsin_cur » Sat 03 Jan 2009, 10:00:14

OK guys. Same rules as last year. Use this thread to make nominations for "Most Absurd/Wingnut-ish Post". This category is for a post. Please feel free to second, third, etc, other people's nominations. After 10 days (i.e. on January 13), I will close nominations and make the top nominated posters into a front page poll so people can vote. The poll will run another 10 days and on January 23, we'll announce the winner.

Last year's winner in this category was "Any post by Kylon."

Good Luck everyone

I would say anything by Roccman, but since he isn't around anymore I would nominate pretty much all of Visionmaster's stargate-ism & anything to do with visions. There's so many it's hard to choose just one.......

Nah, for musical humor nobody beats Monty Python, I'm a Lumberjack!
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Tiny Tim? WTF.
His act was a front, a gag. His normal singing voice was a baritone. And he had a prolific knowledge of music history to rival Dylan.

Okay, I've been waiting for this.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') number of deviant individuals oppose man's true nature as discussed here by opposing capitalism and setting up scams where these individuals pretend to be environmentalists with little or no knowledge of science. Many may have tried to get a traditional scientific education only to drop out and become involved with a leftist scam outfit. These people, especially, the fake environmentalists are in league with the devil. These deviants insist man is evil and claim he only exploits and damages the earth.

Nature is bad

Lord, here comes the flood
We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood
If again the seas are silent in any still alive
It'll be those who gave their island to survive...

Without spending the whole day going through his posts, I've decided to settle for his first post on thread

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')y dots are being connected.

I've had many visions of an ancient Indian sprit with me. Someone who looks like this. Just a face, nothing more.

*then a picture of some native american he found on wikipedia

The other night I had a vision of a Goddess holding her right plam up with two spheres floating on top of each other. Then last night both sprits the old Indian spirt and the Goddess met me. I had just met the sprit of man and woman. The Indian is from the past (male domination) and the new Goddess is our future (female domination). She was holding (floating) these two spheres. Good and evil? That which is above is below? Anyways, we are leaving the age of male domination towards female domination. That is all I know right now. Stay turned for further updates. Wink
