I think the problem with giving amphetamines to healthy people is they will become addicted/dependent after a month of using it. Also the long term effects of these stimulants has not been studied under warranty.

In my 16 years of experience this hasn't been a problem (an insufficient sample size, I'm sure). In fact, most of the early combinations that my physician tried had such severe adverse side effects, I couldn't wait for their effects to wear off. I think most of the abuse you'll find involves unmonitored, sporadic use (finals week during college, long haul truckers, fighter pilots).
