We were talking at Xmas dinner about teachers who have affairs with students. My brother's wife's older sister told of how when she was in high school a teacher kept offering her a ride home after school. We have a local high school, Helix High School, that has four pending court cases of teachers having affairs with students. I mentioned the Reese Witherspoon movie Election in which Reese plays a girl who likes older authority figures. Monica Lewinsky is an example of this kind of thing. I recall a school where I worked where a woman teacher had reputed affairs with boys. She never got caught. I remember the stoner kids at a school where I worked inviting me down to a beach party, presumably to groove to the sound of the waves and get high. Temptations abound. I didn't go. The kids aren't all brats, bratticus. btw, I'm watching to see if you remind me of any posters from the past who got banned. Were you?
