It's been merged because we had FOUR (4) separate threads on the famous shoe tossing incident. It's now here. :)


I'm curious, is there an established procedure for which thread to merge the rest into ? Is it by which was the earliest thread? The one with the most posts? The one with the best title ? This one wins on the last count !



I just noticed it your question dino. Good one!

It's the first thread on a specific topic that remains. The others are merged into that first one. We can't catch them all, but we do try. :)

Is that helpful? Oh, and we PM the originator of the 'merged' threads to let them know what happened to the thread they started. And, we generally post in red a note on the first posting of the merged thread. You'll see one of mine on page 5.

I'll buy that. His term is ending soon so I don't see him passing up any chances to spin his legacy.

This reporter is on fast track to 7figure salary with some arab news network anyway, among other promotions and benefits, so jail time or not he and his family will do "ok" in the end..

He would have swatted that sh*t into the cheap seats, caught the second shoe, went over the podium with his 36" vertical, and tomahawk jammed the shoe into the guy's grille.

Awesome. Then he would have finished up with fried chicken and watermelon for everyone, right plant?
