Bullsh*t, I just withdrew 2 grand from an account, and I am constantly making 500+ dollar debit card (used as a credit card) purchases. I have multiple bank accounts with different banks, and I've never heard of anything like this. Maybe you're just using crappy banks.

I just called my bank, Wells Fargo, and they said there is no limit to how much cash I can withdraw in a week if I withdraw at the branch and not the ATM. ATM withdrawals are limited by the daily limit. But there is no limit to withdrawals at the branch. If the cash withdrawal will be large, I will need to call ahead to make sure the bank has sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal (duh).

So that's the facts at Wells Fargo, anyway.
