One word of warning, avoid hotel beaches, you can get Pinworm from raw sewage. If that happens, eat some raw garlic.

I'd buy about 20 acres, put a tiny, insulated house with solar panels in the center, use half of the land for farming, and the other half will be covered with solar panels. I could sell electricity to the grid.

The company I work for gives out bonuses on Tax Day, 4/15, and normally I turn around and put most of it into my IRA, but this year I thought that would be a really stupid idea. Seeing how the DOW keeps going down and down.
I figure it would be better spent on preps. So, if you had $2K to spend, what would you get?
