$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Eli', 'T')is true, but that has been my experience with ebay I have been ripped off more than I care to admit on the seller side. People are always working angles and scams.

in the early '90's i sold used computers & parts using USENET & various SF Bay Area bulletin boards. out of 100's of transactions, no returns.

no bad checks.

i used UPS COD for about a hundred transactions. 100% success rate, UPS & the USPS were AWESOME. i depended on those little $50 and $200 checks, and they came through.

also i offered a "7 day DOA - AOK" warranty, i gave people 7 days to test stuff & notify me if they wanted to return it. nobody took me up on it.
the Internet or something has changed a lot.

Eli are you the prick from California that ripped me off. I made the mistake of buying something from a Prick in California who refused to ship after he got my money.... Yes that was me.

My favorite scam is to run up my rating by buying a ton of cheap items, then I find a very expensive item that will accept a cashiers check and I send them a fake check. It is awesome.

My one dealing w/ an international seller (Japanese) has been good. I just don't want to fool w/ the hassle of custom forms, and the higher possibility of getting screwed and then my item is half a world away. From some of the posts it looks like the dollar contributes to more of my international inquiries.

And yeah Ferretlover I like the change. "What's left"!

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TommyJefferson', 'T')hey are scammers. ... No legitimate buyer would ignore your specification about US buyers only.

Yes they do: I'm non-US based and have participated in and won a number of "US only" auctions. Obviously, one needs to contact the vendor, make a good case, and point to the 100% positive feedback.

And if the seller wont play ball, theres always MyUs.com :)
