NPR story today on peak oil!

Unread postby Revi » Sat 13 Dec 2008, 19:54:04

NPR did a really good radio piece this morning on peak oil. They talked to a group from Austin, TX and to Matt Simmons. I think it's good that they are still interested even though the price of gas is under $2!

You can listen on the website: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... d=98203926 They also link to CERA's website and a couple of others.

It was a nice story, if brief. I'm glad they included Simmons - he's probably the best PO standard bearer there is.

Thanks for this, they mentioned in on FSN today - which also featured Matt, and Robert Hirsch. NPR, though? "I'm Terry Gross, and this is TEOTWAWKI."

Actually, hearing JHK on NPR egged me into buying The Long Emergency.
