Topeka's forecasted highs through the weekend are no cooler than 40°F. So, that model run was an epic bust ;)

Near record highs today on the East Coast. You guys out west can enjoy winter for a couple of weeks now.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('GASMON', 'A')nd its all due to Global Warming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's why I always thought it was inappropriate to just call it global warming.

Climate change is a more inclusive term - you can blame anything on climate change, including warming, coolling, more rain, less rain, no rain, more, less or no snow, more hurricanes or less, and anything else that seems any little bit different from any time before today.

I like that too. Climate Change. More appropriate, for sure. :)

But beware: Some GW zealot may crawl out from under something nasty and have an unfriendly word with you.

We're bracing for the Arctic High here in Alberta. Our local forecasters are predicting daytime highs between -10 and -25 degrees C for at least two weeks.

I've been enjoying the milder weather with my new puppy. She loves the snow on the ground and loves, loves to walk and jog. I'm not looking forward to having to curtail her walks soon!

Its probably due to low sunspot numbers...

I heard some saying it could end up like Dec of 1990 out west... Ouch!

Cold? Check out the midwest and Ohio valley...look at the key...

Hopefully it doesn't do a ton of damage to CA agriculture... I don't feel like starving just yet.
