$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Shannymara', 'W')e've created a new
Chicago Peak Oil forum for discussing peak oil issues and activism related to Chicago and the surrounding area. blukatzen will be moderating this forum. I hope Chicagoans will find it useful, and welcome blukatzen to our volunteer team.
Thanks Shanny! Hope the forum is a success, because I think it's a good indicator to see how fast changes are going to happen by looking at a major N. American *big* city.
We here in this city can give first hand reports and information like we've seen in the "Chicago is laid off" thread. (at the Chicago forum.) It's also useful for us to keep in touch with each other, and give a "head's up" to events that might be happening that are relevant to our shared interests.
Good place to stick in resources for folk that might be visiting our fair city as well.
I hope it's a good model to work with, and hope it's a good idea, we have a really green city, loaded with diverse industry, at the heart of the Great Lakes Watershed, so there are a lot of things to talk about!
Thanks again!
