Pmping gas: I think about the dumbest things sometimes

today's thought...

i got to get gas...and you know when you're done putting the stuff in your tank...there are always those 2 or 3 drops that come out of the nozzle when you take it out of the gas tank...i be shaking the s*** out of the nozzle making sure that doesn't happen...it's kinda silly to think like this, but, all those two and three drops that don't make the tank...and all the millions and millions of fillups over the years...don't you think that adds up? just a thought...

I do that too. Even worse, when i first start my fill up i feel good when I get the free drops that the guy before me didn't. :-D

I do a little bit more than just shaking the nozzle. After it clicks off on an even dollar amount, I add $2.00 more of gas, press in the switch on the pump to kill the flow, and hold the gas line so it is taught and at a continuous angle. Then I press the fuel lever to drain the line. It gives me an extra pint for free

I actually filled up my tank halfway by doing this at a couple gas stations when I didn't have enough money to fill it up legally. But I was just taking the leftover gas, so no theft since the fuel in question had already been paid for.

Anyway to skin a cat is good by me.
