PeakOil is You

I am glad I haven't prepped.

I am glad I haven't prepped.

If I had started prepping back in 2004 when I found out about peak oil I would be kicking myself now for getting to worked up.

Now, I am going to go outside and have a gas party! We are going to see how many gallons it takes to fill a swimming pool and then we are having a bbq and then going swimming.

I'm glad I prepped. Every dollar I spent and every hour I thought brought me knowledge. I'm way ahead of the game compared to where I was five years ago.

Frankly, doing things for myself is immensely enjoyable to me. I have found a lot of satisfaction in this.

It took me buying seven pocket knives to find the two that I like. How could I have known, if I hadn't tried them out?

Not to rain on your parade of recklessness, but you might want to keep the grill away from the pool full of gasoline.

Of a thousand burning bridges
Sifting through the ashes every day
What we thought would never end
Now is nothing more than a memory
The way things were before
I lost my way" - OCMS

Another thread that is ripe for bumping when the next oil spike occurs.

Maybe spending all your time on the internet here among us preppers has made you feel like you are prepared mentally.

Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave

If I wasn't prepped, I'm not sure how I'd sleep at night, but I do respect your fearlessness.

If peak oil doesn't get us, pollution will. Business as usual, however convenient it may seem, has to end.
