Hey, it's a shame for Sirius too! Instead of listening to Sirius Blues 74, I had to hear some crap called B.B. King's Bluesville. Too much Chicago blues, not enough southern blues.

Still, it beats anything on regular radio.

The XM 40s station is great! Sirius used to have one but it got changed to an all-Sinatra station. Meh. I'd rather have the entire decade o the 40s than Sinatra.

Yes.
I am mourning the loss of my favorite "Sirius Disorder".
Is there another station that played everything from primitive blues to opera (!) to world music and everything both old and new in between except for the top 40 crap..... And special dj's like Lou Reed and David Johansen??
Sad day indeed. :(

I tried that out a few years ago but noticed they played the same songs over and over after a few weeks. I quit using it.

I can play a different record/CD every day at my house/car/work and not hear a repeated song for about 8 years.

Are they officially offering both services as one package now ? How much ? I always told myself once they merged, I was going to get it. Also, I have an XM receiver as part of a boom box than can also go into a car , will this one work ? It is about 2-3 years old. Or is it obsolete now ?
