Goddamn, this documentary makes me glad I didn't have a son.

I've only watched 40% so far but it's pretty captivating.

I almost put this thread in "Population & Carrying Capacity" but I don't really like that subforum much, it attracts fatalists & other depressing types (unlike peak oil in general of course ;)) so I put it here instead.

Not my seed!! :)

A great doco thank you. I'd heard of this problem before but that was quite shocking. I will be doing research on personal ways to avoid these chemicals.

My largest concern, is the motive all about the money or is their something else going on here. 8O

It's a feminist conspiracy!
Actually this is quite worrying. And it's not just the fertility rate that's going down, more and more people have developed allergies due to the chemicals in our food. A few weeks ago I fount out that one of my relatives can't eat colored candy anymore - because she's allergic to it. I've developed an allergy because of the food I ate when I was smaller. Now I get a running nose and a scratchy face every time I go near a dog or a cat.
You should definitely try to avoid aspartame (E951) and sodium benzoate (E211). If you don't know what these are, google them. I don't want to spray you over with links.

Sodium benzoate forms benzene when meets vit.C? Now thats nice.
Overall, I see this progress in applied chemistry as an endless chain of denounces of something they reccomended 20 odd years ago. Benzene was used to decaffeinate coffee for decades. How many people faced their "final expences" sooner than they expected? Triclosan is used in many "anti-bacterial" soaps, dishwashes, toothpastes, ets. It forms chloroform, as well as diclorophenols and dioxins when reacts with clorine from tap water.
A friend of my friend's mother, has decided to use laundry detergents to clean dishes/silverware, as soon as they become available in the area ( 50s? 60s? ) Convinient, fast, sparkling clean dishes. It took her 5 years to develop and to die of cancer of the stomach ( she was in her 30s).
Now I don't have a problem when ingested laundry detergents cause cancer. But, she surely rinsed her dishes well enough to get rid even of the smell ?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('vision-master', 'C')an you summarize the doc for us........

Plastics & other synthetic chemcials/pollutants (one in the same) are devastating male fertility (as well as organ systems in more men & women) & causing fewer male births & more males born with defects or not at all (miscarried).
