At the end of the day...

Unread postby dampsquid » Fri 07 Nov 2008, 08:37:34

I personally believe at this moment in time, that we are absolutely a fairly unique nation. It's not rocket science, with all due respect, but at the end of the day, anyone who is paying attention 24/7, can see obviously it's a nightmare to continue consuming so much food, oil and gas when of course we shouldn't of.

We need to know that at the end of the day, we done good. When we see waste, we need to tell the twits of the errors in wasteful energy. Hey, its all good, It is 11 P.M. at night, and we have to mend our ways and take it to the next level. We need to think outside the box and change. You do the math, this is PC gone mad. Remember, you are a star, and we need to ask, can we just grow up already?

We realize that we should of/ would of/ could of, done better, in the conservation department. Being aware is better than being in the bush, know-what-I-mean? our lifestyles, but we need to wake up. From the get-go we could have driven smaller cars ar even walked to the store instead of driving the heavy machinery to buy milk. I wish I wouldn't have done that, what a waste it was.

Wake up, America, and reduce consumption, or else not.
We are in a crises. It is too little, too late, if you will. A wasteful lifestyle is a wantful lifestyle. Yeah, no! It's a slippery slope and I am guilty of living to excess, LOL! But in any way, shape, or form, we have to realize that we couldn't care less, but we ought to.

Maybe we ought to make a top ten list of things that are about to make us go extinct. Haven't things gone horribly wrong? We need to focus. Stay on track! SACREBLEU! The PIECE DE RESISTANCE is that we are behaving like ants despite increasing fuel shortage and skyrocketing prices that are going up and even increasing that cost us more. We should conserve! But if you don't, then don't. Look, the fact of the matter is, you have to say, that we are running out of gasoline on a daily basis all the time.

Change we can believe in. Yes we can. Together we can. Yes, we can together even. Together we can change and believe that it takes a village to raise an idiot. I've been there already, so...

I think we are all on the same page on this. Believe you me, forever and a day from now, basically we will be sorry for the wasted energy. Are we willing to go with what we know? Or not? OK. Hard working families, ecksetera, relying on fuel most of the day. We need a sea-change of ideas on this. See?

We need to be honest and frank about this, hot dog, know what I mean? Being aware is like better than, like, going extinct, nest-ce-pas? How cool is that, going extinct? We need an immediate change, if not sooner, in our behaviour. Wouldn't that be awesome? Think of it, we actually think about something and then change! Awesome! Good luck with that!

We need to give 110% in our efforts at change! Absolutely! Lets become manorexics and purge this idea of "happy motoring." In concerning effort, let's! We are gutted morallyand we need to excape. Prolly need to break out a can of whoop@ss and get all fired up about this issue. Let's not be haters! Don't be hatin' on me, we need to get down and boogy. Basically, we need to come to a full stop in our lifestyles.

We need to become mavericks, you betcha, and you need to touch base on every change that comes around. that brings up a whole nother idea. If the cyber world has so many ideas, we should listen and hear what the cybers have to say. Make no mistake about it, we have an upcoming problem. Actually, positively and differently, we need to start thinking! Exactly! Brilliant!

Why don't you reach out to your friend and show him the uglyism of a consumer lifestyle. This would bring change ahead of troubles. This would be more useful than a fart in a bottle. We are heading into an unprecidented humanitarian disaster on the horizon, and it is peeking over at us. Will yo wait for the sunami before we make our life changes? Literally, we need to read.

Quite frankly we need to have measures in place that will limit us from slipping on the moss of history and reliving the oil years again. Our community needds to "turn-round" and come to grips with the greeko-Roman economic setbacks. When you go right down to it, everything will come out in the wash, but wouldn't it be better to have the front loader wash door closed?

Can we change? I'm not being funny, but does the pope shit in the woods? Oxford should of partnered with cambridge on this one, all the low hanging fruit has been picked. Rocket science it aint! This is all shambolic. We need a raft of initiatives in going forward. We need to come onstream and debate these points before they dull.

I'm from the council, and I'm here to help you. We have a problem, and it is as obvious as the gorilla in the mini. "That said... I feel we must personally reach out... we should reach out to your neighbors. Each day is like a passing of a life raft and we need to hoist our friends on board.

Me, personally, I feel peak oil has the most value for money of any idea out there. And everything. You know, we don't need to be elitists and be elite, just not be shut down when disrespected.

HOPE and CHANGE rather than division. that's here we're at. Awesome. With all due respect, peak oil is fairly unique idea, it is in close proximity and can be a free gift of love and care to anyone around and about.

Stop letting the politicians blow smoke up your hiney. Can I run this by you? Draw a line under this and move on. I'd like to touch base with you on this one issue. We are running out of cheap oil. No worries, mate. but, our economics are going to change. Peak oil is world class. Big time. YES WE CAN!

Going forward we see the perfect storm. Awesome. At the end of the day, when the chips are down, we need to avoid all the common cliches and remember this: BRILLIANT!

So, turn off the shopping channel, this is not rocket surgery. Get in the HOLE already! Powerdown is coming. Lessons need to be learnt, so study. We all agree to differ but let us unite as we need to hit the ground running, what it is. A paradigm shift is needed and not to just tick one's boxes. Essentially we live in brilliant times, a real nightmare..

For all intensive purposes, I will give you a free gift. At this moment in time we need to also, too, ask ourselves, irregardlessly, whether peak oil is "our bad? Think about it. We need to be in a safe pair of hands, to be in a no-brainer situation of safety. Get off the dope already.

Powerdown is coming
see-you-later.

I don't mean to get you pissed off here it looks like you've grasped the problem but the phrase is ' for all intents and purposes ' although your definition seems very apt. Keep reading......

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dampsquid', 'I') personally believe ...
see-you-later.

You should really take one handle and stick to it.

I see about 20 names you have posted under, not really a good way to establish credibility.
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

Motion to strike this thread, on the grounds that the non-word "irregardlessly" was used within the initial post.
