No DoomWarrier. 3.14 is how many POSTINGS you've made. I believe (ask him when he recovers) MrBill's thread question to everyone was 'intended to determine how many THREADS do you start each day. And why are there so many on each topic? And why are communists taking over nationalizing everything in sight? And where's my bourbon... 8O

I agree, it's chaos. But, there also isn't any official, active 'community organizer' in the economics forum, it seems. Not that it's an easy job.

I don't start many threads in general and when I do, they don't garner much interest. People aren't interested in local governing (or any governing it seems) and I probably need to USE MORE CAPS AND EXCLAIMATION MARKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is silly political season so those kind of thread will wane.

But it's a good example for someone to do some proactive organizing. Just need a few threads

1) Palin is Smokin' Hot
2) Palin is a Dominionist End Times Apocolyptican
3) Palin is a Baby Makin Machine
4) McCain and Palin, Twitchy and Winky

Granted, Mr. Bill is one of our best financial guys, but what does this thread have to do with finance? No, this thread does belong in the open forum.

Aw man...I thought this was going to be one of those:

Mr. BILL's A NEW THREAD FOR A NEW FINACIAL ERA kind of threads, and instead it was just this. What a letdown.

Loved the dilbert strip. Dang, the world would be so much saner if everyone understood "fungible"; yet it has that goofy professional term of art feel to it as a word.

Politicians get away with so much BS simply because people don't understand the concept.

On topic, I rarely start threads, I doubt I've started a dozen over the entire time I've been here.
Yes, we are. As we are.
And so shall we remain; Until the end.

Although I'll admit, Palin looks pretty good for a mouse ;)

Yea and what are you doing!
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

I think I figured it out! Mr. Bill is unemployed now and has suffered some kind of schism to his psyche.

That is the only thing that makes any sense, otherwise why would he start such a ridiculous thread.

I just as easily could have, and I'm employed, perhaps even gainfully......

I make no sense do I?
