Director says it's nice to see all that vulnerable naked white flesh before it's hacked to pieces." The tragedy is set in the ruins of Rome about 30 years in the future, right after "the great Oil Wars," says Bakst. "It's a bombed out cityscape with lootings and violence, like Baghdad after the invasions."

The Broadway cast of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, led by Academy Award winner Denzel Washington, is currently in previews for an April 3 opening at Broadway's Belasco Theatre.
Washington portrays Brutus, the confidant turned betrayer ultimately responsible for the assassination of the Emperor of Rome.
Daniel Sullivan directs a cast that includes Washington, Colm Feore, Jessica Hecht, William Sadler, Tamara Tunie and Eamonn Walker.
