I AM TOO BIG TO FAIL !!!

What's on your mind?
General interest discussions, not necessarily related to depletion.

I AM TOO BIG TO FAIL !!!

YOU HEAR THAT BENNIE AND THE INKJETS?

YOU HEAR THAT HANK?

YOU HEAR THAT BUSH, ROVE, PERLE, WOLFY, RICE, CHENEY?

Let me make this very clear to you.

My kids (4) rely on me for their survival.

Got that?

Therefore...to them I am too big...and to be sure...I will make up the rules as I go to avoid failing as you have.

You have been warned.

I am also pissed off at the AIG bailout.

Fortunately, they lent them money at an extremely punitive rate and will likely wipe out ALL shareholder equity.

This isn't a bailout, it's a noose. They are giving them just enough money to survive until they can completely liquidate.

AIG will be dismantled and destroyed over the next year.

They are a tool.

So, where do yon get loans now?

Or do you?
So then if you don't get loans, then what?

Tyler, we've been lied to so much by our gov't that I'm confident the noose is around our necks, not their's.

Checking on the markets I see that there are no sectors in positive territory. Usually there are some up, some down. Of course financials have been in the red for quite a while, but today they are all down over 10%. There is some heavy stuff going on.

It better just keep going down. I want another 500 loss day, or a thousand would be nice

well, DJIA is down 315 and still falling. Where's the fabled Plunge Protection Team? The Russian stock market is closed for the second day. Global Fear going on.

296 right now. The stocks are gaining. If we don't have a huge dump, we can never ever recover.

Speaking of the Plunge Protection Team, I wouldn't want to be one of those guys. One day it's 'yes, we'll bail you out, the next day it's no we won't, the next day it's yes we will.' They are running around like a head with it's chicken cut off.

Ah, I check the Fidelity website. So gold is up? wouldn't surprise me. How much is it up? Last time I checked it was down about 25% from it's high.

The US can't fail. People and land are still there , you are just playing games with "money". Same as everybody else

One day there will be so many houses, that people will be bored and will go live in tents. "Why are you living in tents ? Are there not enough homes ?" "Yes there are, but we play this Economy game". Now it's "Crisis" time !Too many houses! Yes, we are insane!

Nothing I own is up today but my rail stocks are hanging in there, and my regional bank stock BBT is up 26% for the year. I also have a small defense/wind company AVAV that is up 40% for the year. Getting slammed on GE, KOL and MOO ETF's though and it is bad.

DAMN!

Gold went up $87 today.

Look at this chart, it makes the past 3 days movements look pathetic in comparison to today's surge

And to think I had almost given up hope and was about to trade in my gold for a bank CD...

My brother called and said that my mom put her husband into a facility. She couldn't take care of him any more. News on every front sucks. He called to tell me that I need to call her. I don't want to call her unless I have some good news. Lately I don't have any good news.
