Just because you don't agree with their political/philosophical opinions they're bad? I would disagree with you on what most young people believe. Most young people have outlook that’s libertarian in an American kind of a way.

Young people today aren't really much different from their parents of the boomer generation. Even the music of today is basically derivative from the 60s and 70s.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Stratovarius', ' ')I live in a "neighborhood" right now and I don't even know the names of any of my neighbors adjacent to me. Horrible.
Somewhere along the way, it became apparent that everybody is crazy/neurotic, that the neighbors are probably not even anyone you would want to know. btw, the difference between 8 and 28 is greater than the difference between 28 and 80. Don't be too intellectual, with the way things are going you may not make 28 let alone 80 if you get my drift.

HA! Looks like the kids at Whole Foods baggin' up my groceries. I wonder what their mother thinks of that look? What are they going to do when they turn 55? Still look like that? They don't think these things through when they are 23 and think they're the shizz.....

What do you mean I may not make 28? Why am I going to die? :)

that's, what, 10 years from now? you post at a peak oil website and you ask that? why are you going to die? try no food in the stores, no trucks to haul it there, no fertilizer and pesticides to grow the food, panic, riots, system breakdown, no electricity, no hospitals, disease rampant, war, chaos. The main difference between the young and old now is that the old will have had a longer life when they kick the bucket.

The truth? It will be more like the bucket will have been kicked out from under our legs. That's you and myself, PMS. You might be coming along for the ride Strativarious.
