$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'J')ust finished watching 12 Monkeys, the thing that strikes me about it is Love.
Sure its just Hollywood, but that's the card that Hollywood plays so well, Love.
Everytime I see love in the movies I want to go and find it. All I love now is my kids. They are great kids and I'm happy to love them, but it would be nice to love a woman. And I'm not talking about sex, just love (with sex as an expression). Count your blessings if you have it, and some of you do I'm sure. Here's an interesting question: should one seek love with societal collapse around the corner?
Just think of your old "hero to the rescue" fantasies, PMS. They're a common theme among young men.
The world is devastated. The fair damsel is beset by post peak bad boys that want to rape and then eat her.
To the rescue comes PMS; slaughters the evil doers and carries the fair one off to safety in his PPO retreat. First comes gratitude and then love blooms and then ...
It could happen to you.
BTW: Twelve Monkeys has to be in my top 5 movies. Good mix of action, romance and interesting mind twists. Good script and well acted by a great cast.
